Hello Users ;)

normally i wouldn't release it yet, but i know we don't have that much time and so don't work on the Bot and this so often, I will finally release our 1. Version of this Encoder/Decoder.
The last version was build on ‎Saturday, ‎October ‎24, ‎2009, ‏‎11:24:23 PM and so isn't that new but i did some improvements today, eg. adding madplay or mpq123 as an alternative to libmad, some over all improvements to "!enc_all.cmd" etc.
I hope you all forgive us that we didn't released it earlier.
We just wanted to finish it and make it perfect, but as i said before, we don't have that much time (or even motivation^^) to work on it.

We don't offer much support to it, so be warned ;)

The program is at this state finished in no way, so use at your own risk and try to use your brain when something went wrong :P

Install:
  • download and extract 2xEncdec anywhere you like
  • download SoX as zip file and extract it to your 2xEncdec folder so that there is "sox-14.3.1"
now rename "sox-14.3.1" to just "sox"
  • download MAD or mpg123 (when you find another good working decoder, just post it ;)) you can use libmad.dll, madplay.exe or mpg123.exe, dunno which one is better^^
Copy libmad.dll, madplay.exe or mpg123.exe to your SoX folder.
    (
    MAD: http://www.down-dll.com/index.php?file-download=libmad.dll&dsc= (only libmad)
MAD: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jfe1205/MAD/ (both, but libmad seems to not work)
    mpg123: http://www.mpg123.de/download/win32/ (eg. mpg123-1.12.3-static-x86.zip)
    )
Usage:
  • Copy your Sounds (eg. MP3, OGG, WAV) to your 2xEncdec's "!sounds" directory
  • Run !enc_all.cmd and you are finished ;) All converted files are placed inside "!2xSnd"

To test Ogg,Vorbis you can use one of this nice musics ;)
http://www.vorbis.com/music/
(you can grab many Ogg Vorbis music for free, as Ogg by it self is free. Other than fucking MP3 or AAC (MP4) Ah.. btw, as i know free music is Gema free ;) another German shit that gots damned :P. I can't understand why people do things like that... but every land has black sheep's right :P?)

Edit by Hook: To download 2xEncdec please register at this forum. You will then find the files as an attachment to this post.

ENGLISH:
use Google^^ Sry i started to write German, and now i don't want to switch or translate it^^
But as Decoder always try to use libmad for SoX first and than when that does not work etc. use mpg123. libmad + SoX should be the fastest way to convert mp3s in this way.
